Digging in Deeper
Ok, I tried to share a lot less info today and let you explore more. The next two days will go by very quickly! So, the main question for today is - are you planning on just applying what you've seen so far, or is there more you'd like me to show? I also have some notes for a few additional quick handouts on (such as adding sounds to PowerPoint or making .gif animations in Photoshop). Not making any promises (I only have so many hours to do it!), are there others I should be thinking about?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have enjoyed everything you have showed us but I am going to concentrate on Powerpoint and try and create some more presentations and a slide show!

I've had a great day working on something that I've never done before. I'm writing a fantasy story and am going to use video and pictures and music to enhance the story in iMovie. I will try to get it all put together by Friday, but I probably won't get too far. On Friday, I will show what I can and discuss how I will proceed to complete the process. Thanks for the opportunity to do this work. I'll learn a lot in the process.

I plan on playing it by ear. I'd like some time to practice the things I've learned. Perhaps make a personal project as opposed to a school one. I'm certainly open to learning new things, but would like time to reinforce skills first.

I need more help with Pinnacle. I got too busy doing my Powerpoint and will need a refresher. I love everything we are doing. I am grateful to be more comfortable with these tools and plan on doing more presentations with my students.

I like your additional ideas for other topics. These are both topics I would like to explore. I learned TONS today; hopefully I will be able to remember the high points for tomorrow and Friday!

Today in class I researched and found (several new ones I never heard of before)digital manipulation examples I will need in my PowerPoint show.
I also completed the beginning (10 slids) of the show. I am looking forward to putting this all together by Friday to show this class (and have it ready for the fall for my high school photo students).

I'm thoroughly enjoying this experience. The pacing is good, and the sequence--an overview, guided practice and then individual practice and exploration--is perfect for me as that is how I learn best.
I think the exposure we are getting to various applications is just enough to pique our interest, but not too much that we are finding it overwhelming. We're getting a good sense of the potential, even if we can't get there now.
The environment has been very conducive to learning and asking any and all questions (with accompanying answers)--thank you for facilitating this.
I would like to get an overview of iMovie if possible, and if there is time.
Best,
Marwin

It's great having the opportunity to explore these various programs. I'd like to concentrate now on my PowerPoint presentation and incorporate some of the newly learned features into it for Friday. Thanks for another interesting and productive day at the computer.

I am really liking this class. I no longer worry about how little I know..AS I get more info I realize I know less but I am having fun figuring it out. I would like to learn animation for powerpoint and how to add music background. I also would like a little knowledge on webquest as a way to use powerpoint in the classroom. I would also like to have some info on how to use inspiration in the classroom as I am fuzzy on its applications.
I am working on a powerpoint on new york and plan to have some of it finished for friday...the rest will come for my project. I am also planning on a powerpoint presentation for a workshop I am doing in July. I need to write some lesson plans for writing how might I use technology to deliver them to staff? I am learning a lot thanks and thanks for not changing to a different format for class when i complained about not getting enough how to...I see why youi are doing it the way you are

This class has opened up so many creative possibilities to me. I appreciate the variety of topics that come up and your wilingness to stop and answer questions when we have them. I hope to figure out how to get my VHS footage converted into the digital format.
