First Day

Well, that day went fast!

Instead of using a journal this week, I thought we'd try using the blog. Take just a minute to write down either something important that you learned today, something you know that you want to learn in the next day or so, or both if you feel really motivated.

Had a great time working on advancing some things I've done in PPT and I'm looking forward to learning about Photoshop Elements tomorrow.

Being a newbie at this, I am slow at getting it..I am finally getting how to create a slide with text and importing photos. Dont know how to do the parts of powerpoint to make a slide show go and how to add things to the slide show in different order. As much as I like figuring out on my own, my learning style is visual and I need to see it modeled first. I want to have my powerpoint have all the graphics that move and sound effects

I know we are moving on but personally, I still need to stay with powerpoint and inspiration.

I appreciated the time to work on Powerpoint. I learned a lot and got quite a bit accomplished on a Middle East unit.

I was confused about how to put Inspiration into Word or Powerpoint.

I am looking forward to learning more about Photoshop and hope we make it to I-Movie.

I surprised myself today! PowerPoint wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be. Inspiration inspires me to get started on some planning. I hope my new school has the software...if not, i just might have to buy it myself.

I've learned a few new tricks using PowerPoint and Inspiration. I'm thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to explore and learn from Conn and my fellow participants.

    This is fun!

I really enjoyed learning about Powerpoint and how to use animations in PowerPoint. Also I did not know Inspiration had prepared templates in Social Studies. It looks very useful. I'm excited to make a movie and lean how to use Pinnacle. Thanks for a great day.

It was good to refresh my memory on PowerPoint. I had forgotten how to use some of the features such as adjusting how text enters onto the page. Also became more familiar with importing photos from the Internet. I was very interested in learning more about Inspiration since I think our district may be purchasing the software for next year. Would have liked to have had more time to explore the program, but am excited about working with it at home. I see it as a valuable organizational tool for my students and me. I'm excited about Tuesday's schedule since I've never been exposed to Photoshop Elements.
